On a cool, sunny October 5 afternoon, we gathered to honor the
Patriot ancestor of Falls Church
Chapter NSDAR member, Joy Walsh. Chapter regents for Falls Church Chapter NSDAR and Louisa Court House Chapter NSDAR, Lisa Maloney and Peggy Sadler, co-hosted the event. Joining
us in the celebration were many distinguished guests.
We extend a special
thanks to the Louisa Court
House Chapter NSDAR members who
partnered with us to make this a warm and
fitting tribute. Joy Walsh gave the address covering the life and times of her Patriot ancestor, Private Samuel Wharton.
