Falls Church Chapter 2023 - 2024 Programs





Chapter meetings are held eight times a year, on Saturdays (with light refreshments), from September through May. We welcome prospective members, as well as current members of other NSDAR chapters to our meetings. Please contact our chapter regent if you would like to attend a meeting.

*Hybrid meetings are both virtual and in-person meetings.

Community Involvement
Chapter members are involved in a variety of activities that support the NSDAR objectives: preserving history, furthering education, and promoting patriotism. Among our projects are: 

  • Maintenance and preservation of the “Ellicott” and “Banneker” District of Columbia boundary marker stones
  • Genealogical record preservation and research
  • Service to veterans and veteran groups
  • Student awards for American History Essay contest.
  • Support for DAR-sponsored schools
  • Displays at local libraries and schools for various observations. Contact us if you are interested in a display on Constitution Week, Flag Day, American history topics, or more.
  • Participation in naturalization ceremonies
  • Wreath-laying ceremonies for Veterans Day and Memorial Day commemorations 
  • Plus much, much more!
